An accomplished pianist and considered a child prodigy by some, she started playing piano at the age of four. By the age of nine, Jasmine already achieved performer level by passing the exam set by Association Board of England and Trinity level.    At the age of 13, when most of her contemporaries still studied in high school, Jasmine was both learning and teaching piano at the same time. From age 16 to 19, she went to England once a year for three months finishing her piano program in order  to graduate from the music academy. She furthered her studies at Hong Kong Music Institute including lessons in conducting a musical group.

Jasmine is also known for her discipline in piano teaching. The results are impressive. After years of guidance under her, many young students go on to become master level pianists themselves.

Before immigrating to Canada, Jasmine performed in Lam Philharmonic orchestra under the highly respected and influential conductor in Asia, Yip Wing-sie.  Jasmine has also performed in Hong Kong city hall and other venues.
